Firswood dental practice are able to offer any necessary treatment required to maintain your oral health. You only pay one fee depending on the treatment you require unless you are exempt from paying NHS dental charges or you are entitled to reduced cost NHS dental treatment.

You do not have to pay for NHS dental charges if you
  • Receive income support
  • Receive income based job seekers allowance
  • Receive Income based employment support allowance
  • Receive Pension credit guarantee credit
  • Have an HC2 exemption certificate
  • Are pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months
  • Under 18
  • Under 19 and in full time education
  • Have an NHS tax credit exemption card
  • Are a prisoner or in a young offenders institute

If you have an HC3 certificate, you may be entitled to reduced cost treatment. Your entitlement will be detailed on the certificate. If you do not pay for your dental treatment or pay a reduced amount towards your NHS dental treatment, you will be required to show proof of this when you attend the surgery.
